Hickory Ridge Theatre teacher Ian Sullivan has worked in the field of theatre education for fourteen years, in a variety of different roles and atmospheres. At Children’s Theatre of Charlotte and Ballantyne Arts Center, he worked in small groups of enrichment classes, focused on skill building. He has also directed numerous shows for young audiences with young actors, working with performers ranging from pre-K to adults.
Mr. Sullivan uses his programs to build relationships between students, departments, and the community. His mantra: “I believe that theatre arts are an incredible tool for positively affecting children and young adults.”
